God Knows I Tried
This is a photography project I shot and edited for a college class. God Knows I Tried captures the genera of camp and kitsch in a new and unique manner. I drew inspiration from the photography duo Pierre and Gilles as well as Catholic religious imagery. Overall, the series is meant to look at traditional religious imagery through a camp lens.
This series was photographed in a lighting studio with a Canon 7D and was edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
My photo series was also chosen to be displayed in a gallery at Virginia Tech.
