Profound Longing

Profound Longing is a video project I created in order to visually articulate the feeling of longing and nostalgia. The video pays homage to 90s/2000s skate videos that were popular on MTV. I shot the project on my iPhone and created the 90s/static filter to overlay onto the clips in PremierePro.

My short film was chosen by the Dean of the School of Visual Arts at Virginia Tech to be featured in a showcase of student work. The video was shown at a local drive-in theater.

Applications used for editing were PremierePro and AfterEffects.
